• PURPOSE Small-sized branch clamp P 4 is designed for outdoor lighting and connecting subscriber wires. • APPLICATION AREA Used for connecting 6-95 mm2 main line cores with 1.5-10 mm2 cross-section wires. • PRINCIPLE OF OPERATION Electrical contact is achieved by piercing the insulation of the branch wire cores. Bolt tightening torque is controlled using a breakaway head. Contact plates are made of aluminum alloy and are intended for connecting aluminum wires. Contacts on the branch side are coated with grease. Clamp bodies are gray, which helps prevent application errors. Contact plates on the main line side are made in the form of a bar to avoid reducing the mechanical strength of the wire.
