Application area: connection of steel and synthetic ropes, cables to each other and for forming loops at their ends for fixation and protection against strand unwinding. Used for static fastening of structures and loads on platforms or decks during transportation and construction and installation works. Not intended for lifting operations and withstanding dynamic loads. Material: carbon steel with anti-corrosion zinc coating. Features: the working strand of the sling must be on the saddle side. When clamping, uniform tension must be ensured at both ends of the clip. The clip size corresponds to the diameter of the clamped rope. The number of installed clips depends on the rope diameter: up to 16 mm – 3 clips, from 16 to 27 mm – 4 clips, from 27 to 37 mm – 5 clips, more than 37 mm – 6 clips. The distance between clips and to the edge is equal to six times the rope diameter. When fastening large diameter slings, the nuts are reinforced with locknuts.
