REXANT Ferric chloride 250 g is intended for etching printed circuit boards, copper and its alloys in the electronics industry and instrumentation using an aqueous solution. To prepare an aqueous solution, combine 1 part ferric chloride and 3 parts water in a container made of plastic, glass, or ceramic by stirring. During the etching process, the solution must be stirred, for example, by rocking the container. The etching time with ferric chloride is from 5 to 50 minutes and depends on the temperature, concentration of the solution and its copper contamination, and the thickness of the copper foil. The higher the solution temperature, the shorter the etching time. The finished board must be rinsed under running water and dried.
