Terminal blocks with built-in diodes are designed for operation in AC and DC circuits. The built-in diode in the terminal design is connected to an inductive load, such as relay coils, electromagnetic valves, or contactor coils, to eliminate or suppress sudden voltage spikes occurring in the load when the supply voltage is disconnected. The terminals are equipped with a built-in 1N4007/1N5408 type diode for reverse polarity protection, which also provides unidirectional current.
