DVA-6 and DVA-10 series AVERES residual current circuit breakers (RCCB) are used in AC electrical circuits with a rated voltage of 230 V / 400 V and a frequency of 50 / 60 Hz. They are designed to protect people from electric shock upon accidental contact with live parts of an electrical installation and to protect electrical equipment in case of conductor insulation damage and faults; they prevent fires resulting from leakage currents and subsequent short circuits, ground faults, and earth faults; they ensure automatic disconnection of a section of the electrical network during overloads and short circuits.
