SMX-L nail anchor consists of the following elements: a plug with a countersunk rim and a two-segment expansion zone, and an expansion element – a special nail with a countersunk head with a PZ cross recess and a reinforced collar. The plug is made of nylon, the nail is made of carbon steel, and the coating is yellow zinc. The nail anchor is designed for fastening construction materials and products to concrete, solid brick, and masonry bases. It is used for through-mounting brackets, door frames, window frames, cable ducts, lathing, gypsum plasterboards (GKL), gypsum fiber boards (GKL), etc. Pre-drilling a hole is required for installation. Fastener strength is achieved by wedging the plug in the hole with the nail at the moment of hammer impact. Using the cross recess on the nail head, the fastener can be easily loosened, tightened, or removed. The nail anchor with a countersunk rim is installed flush, i.e., its head is recessed, allowing fastening work to be performed without subsequent surface leveling.
