Infrared motion sensor MS-20B is designed to save electricity through automatic control of lighting and other engineering systems. The sensor responds to the movement of people and other objects within the sensor's range; the sensor's operating principle is based on monitoring the level of IR radiation in the field of view.
The MS-20B sensor is designed for surface mounting on the ceiling. It is recommended to use the sensor in pantries, dressing rooms, and other rooms with temporary human presence.
Operating algorithm: when movement occurs in the sensor's field of view, the built-in electromechanical relay (rated for a full power of 1200W) switches the connected load. After that, the load remains energized for a set period (from 10 sec. to 7 minutes, adjustable) and then turns off. Additionally, the sensor has a light level control function. If the illumination in the detection zone is above the set level (adjustable), the load will not turn on, allowing for additional electricity savings.
