MK series electromagnetic contactors are designed for operation in power electrical circuits and DC control circuits at voltages up to 220V DC, up to 1000V DC and up to 380V AC 50, 60 Hz of general industrial installations, as well as for switching electrical circuits of locomotives and electric locomotives at a voltage of 220V DC. MK1-20, MK2-20, MK3-20, MK4-20 contactors can be used when operating in DC power circuits at a voltage of 440V as single-pole devices, provided that the main contacts are connected in series. MK1-20, MK1-30, MK2-20, MK2-30 contactors can be used when operating in AC power circuits at a voltage of 500V at a frequency of 50 and 60Hz with a reduction in rated operating current. The design of the auxiliary circuit contacts allows for the conversion of making contacts to breaking contacts and vice versa. In this case, the number of breaking contacts must not exceed 50% of the total number of auxiliary circuit contacts. Two identical contactors with making main contacts located side by side allow for the installation of mechanical interlocking.
