MW-706 microwave motion sensor is designed to save energy through automatic control of lighting and other engineering systems. The sensor responds to the movement of people and other objects within the sensor's range; the sensor's operating principle is based on generating high-frequency electromagnetic waves and detecting the resulting echo. Thus, microwave sensors have increased sensitivity and can detect movement through thin barriers (drywall, glass, suspended ceiling, etc.).
The MW-706 sensor has a universal design and can be installed on a wall, on a ceiling, or inside a luminaire housing. It is recommended to use the sensor in corridors, entrances, utility rooms, and other areas with temporary human presence. Outdoor use is possible if installed in a sealed box.
