"Conchiglia" enclosures are an innovative product from DKS. This series includes both wall-mounted cabinets and floor-standing outdoor cabinets made of fiberglass. Floor-standing cabinets are installed on the floor or in a foundation, while wall-mounted ones are hung on a wall or a support. Fiberglass is a unique material. It is absolutely corrosion-resistant, resistant to chemical substances, withstands temperatures from –60 to +120 °C, and any weather conditions. Fiberglass does not require grounding and does not create interference with signal transmission. At the same time, the cabinet is lightweight – the fiberglass enclosure weighs 25-40% less than an equivalent metal one. Additionally, "Conchiglia" cabinets have a maximum impact resistance level – IK10, a vandal-proof surface, and a high level of dust and water protection – IP65. All these qualities make "Conchiglia" enclosures an ideal option for outdoor installation and for building power distribution systems, organizing gas, telephone, water supply networks, and traffic light systems. A reliable lock with dirt protection and durable AISI 316 stainless steel hinges guarantee the protection of the equipment placed inside the cabinet. The frameless design accelerates the process of connecting and mounting the cabinets. Accessories are used for cabinet assembly and equipment mounting. They are usually ordered separately. The use of accessories increases the adaptability of the "Conchiglia" system to various tasks. To install the cover panel, a special frame must be used. It is made of self-extinguishing plastic. The frame is designed for a cabinet with a height of 490 mm and a width of 685 mm.
