"PCG" series time relay DIN-rail mounting. Designed to control contactors switching electric motor windings from "STAR" connection during startup to "DELTA" connection in operating mode. Operating principle The time relay has 2 relay outputs. Each controls a separate contactor. At the moment of startup, its first output switches on contactor S? (contacts 7-9 close) and the electric motor windings are connected in "STAR" configuration, which reduces the starting current several times. After the motor reaches operating mode (time t1), a pause (t2) occurs when both contactors are switched off, then contactor S? (contacts 10-12 close) is switched on, connecting the windings in "DELTA" configuration. Features: supply voltage 230 V AC; 24 V AC/DC; startup time 1-1000 s; switching time 75 / 150 ms; contact - 2NO/NC (2x8 A).
