PVC coated wire rope DIN 3055 is used for lifting and moving loads for industrial and domestic purposes. It is widely used in construction: for creating stays for antenna masts and pipes, installing wire and cable supports, hanging advertising and decorative structures, winches, pull lifts, etc. It is made of high-strength galvanized steel wire with a special coating of PVC (polyvinyl chloride). The rope sheath provides high corrosion resistance and prevents wire abrasion. The coated rope is safer to use – the sheath protects against sharp strands. Tests have shown that precipitation and climate temperature changes from -40 °C to +50 °C do not actually affect elasticity, abrasion resistance, or coating transparency and ensure a service life of more than 25 years, provided there is no mechanical damage to the coating.
