Residual current device series UZO-03 Dekraft; 2P; rated current 16 A; rated residual current 30 mA; electromechanical; differential trip type - AC; for DIN rail. RCDs are installed in AC networks with voltage up to 400 V. RCDs are used to protect electrical installations from the risk of fire due to current leakage. The design of the devices allows them to be operated even at low temperatures. During assembly, the residual current device (RCD) and the circuit breaker (for RCD protection) are installed in series, whereby the rated current of the device must be one step higher — i.e., 20 A when installed in series with a 16 A circuit breaker, 32 A when installed with a 25 A circuit breaker.
