Operating principle: a voltage of 5V is supplied from an integral stabilizer to the microcontroller. The controller's clock generator is clocked from an internal source with a frequency of 1 MHz. One bit is used to control the dot, seven bits of the port are configured for control, switching on, and outputting indicator segments. The remaining 3 bits are configured for output and used to control the indicator digits. The measured voltage is applied to the input voltage divider (a resistor is used to calibrate the voltmeter against reference voltmeter readings). From the input divider, the voltage is applied to the 11th pin of the microcontroller (7th bit of the port), which is configured as an ADC input. Then the voltage at the ADC input is compared with the reference voltage and converted into a digital value. Next, the controller converts the hexadecimal code of the measured voltage into a decimal code, and then into a seven-segment code. The timer interrupts program execution to a display control subroutine, which, using the calculated seven-segment code, lights up the first of the three indicator digits, then the second digit at the next interrupt, and the third digit at the next interrupt, and so on.
